A new café for cat lovers in Yekaterinburg
Koshkin Dom (a cat’s house) is the name of the new café opened in Yekaterinburg. The café is inhabited by nine cats. Visitors can stroke the cats and play with them if they want to. According to Alyona Smolentseva, the owner of the café, the place is popular mainly with adults but some visitors bring their children.
The café is located on ul Hohryakova , 16. One hour in the café costs 120rub. The price includes coffee, tea and sweets.
The idea of the cat-café came from Japan. Similar cafes are opened in other Russian cities: in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Saratov and Krasnoyarsk.
