Take a one day cycling tour around a picturesque Shartash Lake to enjoy nature wonders within the city of Yekaterinburg.
Shartash (yellow stone) in the east of Yekaterinburg is one of the oldest lakes in the Urals - 1 million years old. It has a shape of a bean; its area is 7 sq.km.
The cycling trail around the lake is 12.5 km. It goes throught the Shartash Forest Park and the village of Izoplit.
During the tour you will visit Kamennie Palatki (stone tents) - the natural granite monument of the Iron Age was a place for shamanistic people
You can take snacks and drinks for a picnic and a swimming suit for a swim in the lake.
